79 Saints Win OCAA All Academic Award
Windsor, ON)– St. Clair College continues to be a leader in the OCAA for academic and athletic excellence.
A total of 79 St. Clair varsity student‑athletes have earned OCAA All‑Academic honours for the 2025‑26 season. Building on last year's total of 73 recipients, the Saints remain one of the top members for success in the classroom while continuing to thrive in competition.
St. Clair student‑athletes have sustained a high level of academic achievement while balancing the demands of varsity sport. To earn OCAA All‑Academic honours, athletes must maintain an honours‑level average during their competitive semester while remaining in good standing on their team—an achievement that reflects both commitment and consistency.
St. Clair's 79 honourees placed the Saints third in the provincial overall standings; behind Humber (90) and Conestoga (82) with both programs having more teams than St. Clair. Men's and women's volleyball paced the way with twelve selections each for the Saints.
Seventeen (17) student-athletes were also OCAA Academic Athletic Excellence or CCAA Academic All-Canadians recipients earning academic honours alongside elite athletic achievement in their sport (e.g., OCAA League All-Star).
Reid Innes, Director of Athletics and Recreational Services, stated, "We cheer for our athletes in competition, but our ultimate goal is their academic success. The commitment this group have shown in the classroom reflects the standards we expect at St. Clair College and the culture we all work to uphold every day. We are incredibly proud of the way our student-athletes continue to prioritize academics while competing at a high level."
