Women's Basketball Add Size with Stoney Creek’s Paolini
- Submitted by

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Women’s Basketball team just got bigger with the signing of 6’2” post player Jessica Paolini from Stoney Creek beginning in the 2020-21 season.  She committed to the Saints basketball team last week with her Letter of Intent and will be enrolled academically in the Veterinary Technician program in the fall.

“Jessica possesses elite size and will be utilized at both the high and low post in our offensive scheme,” said St. Clair Head Coach Andy Kiss of the Paolini signing.  Kiss continued, “She has good hands, is a skilled passer and finishes well at the basket. Her size will also give us an imposing defensive presence inside the paint. Jessica is a converted soccer player who only a few years ago decided to make basketball her #1 sport.  We are thrilled to bring Jessica aboard as part of a stellar 2020 recruiting class.”

Paolini was a member of Stoney Creek’s Cardinal Newman High School team that were ‘AAA’ OFSAA Silver Medalists in 2017 and 2018.  She also played with the Blessed Sacrament (Hamilton) club program in the JUEL league the last two years.
