Men's Basketball Welcome Brown-Fazekas Home
Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men's Basketball team welcomed home transfer Kyle Brown-Fazekas (Windsor, ON/Kennedy) in a recent commitment who will be joining the roster for the Saints in the 2024-25 season.
Brown-Fazekas measures 6'0" and played guard for Humber College (Etobicoke) the last two years amassing an OCAA resume that includes a West All-Rookie team selection (2022-23) as well as the West Sixth Man of Year award last season helping his squad to a provincial Gold Medal on their way to a national Bronze Medal. His OCAA regular season scoring average is 11.0ppg to go with 5.1 rebounds per contest.
Before that Brown-Fazekas was a local standout at Kennedy earning the Offensive Player of the Year award for the Clippers to go with a WECSSAA First-Team All-Star selection. He will be continuing his studies in the Sport and Recreation Management program at St. Clair.
Saints Co-Head Coach Matt Sykes said of the pick-up, "Coach Seguin and I are very excited to bring another local talent back home. This is another case of perfect timing for our program, as we lose a few of our key veteran pieces from previous years and he will be able to slide right into a major role."
Sykes continued, "Kyle brings championship experience along with a 'something to prove attitude'. We are looking forward to seeing Kyle suit up in our colours and bring his hometown support to Saints Nation."
