Men's Basketball Attract Slay from London

Windsor, ON – The St. Clair College Men's Basketball team are excited to announce the commitment of Isaiah Slay (London, ON/ Mother Teresa) who comes on board with the Saints in 2026-27.

Slay is a 6'4" forward who has enjoyed successful development at the high school and club level in London.  He captained Mother Teresa to an OFSAA 'AAA' Championship this past March after a provincial silver medal in 2025.  Slay was also part of an OBLX Provincial Championship team with the London Ramblers club program.  His individual resume includes a Basketball Player of the Year Award at Mother Teresa after earning All-Star recognition at the UWO Purple and White tournament and with the London area high schools.  The Mo Bolden program also named Slay a Top 20 MVP.

Saints Co-Head Coach Brendon Seguin said of Slay, "Adding Isaiah is a very exciting addition for the program. His ability to play multiple different positions and affect the game with or without the ball, allows him to take on many roles.  Isaiah comes from a strong foundation at Mother Teresa. His presence and experience around a competitive and winning culture will help our group continue to compete at the highest level."

Seguin continued, "Isaiah is versatile wing scorer who can impact the game from all three levels including finishing at the rim, creating in the mid-range, and knocking down shots from beyond the arc.  Defensively, he is a high-level competitor with the ability to switch and guard multiple positions which makes him a valuable player on both ends of the floor."

Academically Slay will be pursuing a 3-year advanced diploma in St. Clair's Sport and Recreation Management program starting this fall.
