Women's Volleyball Add Three More Players to Roster
The St. Clair College Department of Athletics and women's volleyball program is pleased to announce the commitment of three more top recruits for the 2026-27 season. The Saints have signed Anisa LaPointe, Kimberlee Nicholson and Elle Johnston.
LaPointe is a 5'11 outside hitter from Windsor who will be graduating from Holy Names. With Holy Names Anisa won SWOSSAA this past year and she also had a large amount of club experience with the South County Bandits. LaPointe will be enrolled in the three year Business Administration Marketing Program at St. Clair.
Nicholson is a 5'11 outside hitter from Brantford where she will be graduating from North Park Collegiate this spring. Kimberlee has extensive club experience playing for the KW Predators Volleyball Club. Nicholson will be taking the Pre-Service Firefighting program.
Johnston is a 5'8" outsider hitter from Cochrane, Alberta and is graduating from Cochrane Secondary School. Along with her high school experience Elle has significant club experience with the Astarz Volleyball Club. Johnston will studying in the Fitness and Health Promotion program.
Head Coach Julie Ann Milling is looking forward to this group joining the program. "We are excited to welcome Elle, Kimberlee and Anisa. They bring talent and competitiveness to the court. We're proud to have them join our Saints family and can't wait to see how they contribute to our culture and success this season."
The St. Clair women are coming off of one of their best seasons in recent history finishing with a regular season record of 14-2 and winning the OCAA West Division for the first time since 1997. The Saints have won back to back OCAA Silver Medals.
