      <description>Mount Hope, ON &#x2013; The St. Clair College Men&#x2019;s Cross-Country team were led by rookie runner Brendan Currie (LaSalle, ON/St. Thomas of Villanova) at the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Provincial Championships which were hosted by Mohawk College (Hamilton) on Saturday at Marydale Park in Mount Hope, ON.  The Men&#x2019;s team were back on the podium with a Silver Medal result while Currie achieved the same individual honour after finishing only 23 seconds from the top spot.</description>

This will be the second time the Saints have presented the event to collegiate teams from across Canada which was held at the same site in 2003 and was the second cross-country championship in the CCAA&#x2019;s history.</description>

      <title>Cross Country Misses Podium at OCAA&#x2019;s</title>

      <description>King City, ON &#x2013; The St. Clair College Cross Country team were unable to reach the podium for the first time since 2015 at the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Provincial Championships which were hosted Saturday by Seneca Polytechnic at their King Campus in King City, ON that saw 16 OCAA schools compete in the meet.  The Saints were 4th as a team in the Women&#x2019;s event amongst 10 schools that had 60 runners while the St. Clair Men finished 5th against 12 other teams with 75 total racers.  St. Clair was fortunate to have three individual athletes finish as members of the OCAA All-Ontario Teams.</description>

      <description>Bowling Green, OH &#x2013; The St. Clair College Cross Country team treated themselves to a nice experience Friday night when they competed in their first event of the season at the Mel Brodt Collegiate Invitational Meet hosted on the campus of Bowling Green State University which was a chance for the Saints to run against NCAA Division I athletes.  Bowling Green State University will also be hosting their Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championship in late October on their campus course.</description>

This makes consecutive bronze medals for the Saints and the fourth straight year with a podium finish at the nationals.</description>

      <description>Medicine Hat, AB &#x2013; The St. Clair College Cross Country teams are heading to Alberta for the third consecutive season to compete in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships that are being hosted by Medicine Hat College in Medicine Hat, Alberta.  The Saints are participating at the national level for the 11th consecutive season having qualified this year with a Men&#x2019;s team gold medal and a Women&#x2019;s team silver medal at the OCAA Provincial Championships two weekends ago in Thunder Bay.</description>

      <title>Medal Haul for St. Clair Cross Country at Provincials</title>

      <description>Thunder Bay, ON &#x2013; The St. Clair College Cross Country teams have reason to celebrate after winning a Men&#x2019;s Team Gold and a Women&#x2019;s Team Silver on Saturday at the OCAA Provincial Championships hosted by Confederation College. The event was held at the Lappe Nordic Centre in Kaministiquia, ON which is 20km northwest of Thunder Bay.  Saints&#x2019; male racers also had tremendous individual performances that included a Silver Medal from 2nd year runner Jacob Fitzpatrick (Tecumseh, ON/Tecumseh Vista) and a Bronze Medal from 5th year runner Tyler Jones (LaSalle, ON/Sandwich).</description>
